“Under the Shade…” depicts a young woman sat beneath a beautiful old oak tree in a luscious green park. She is shielding herself from the sun with a bright red umbrella whilst enjoying the outdoors. This piece was created for the exhibition Park Life in Museum In The Park however, did not make my final selection for the show. It is a unique piece of artwork inspired by the impressionism era and the enjoyment of parks at that time.
