This painting in soft pastels is based on the fields we used to play in as childrens in the Cotswolds countryside. During the hay harvest season we would spend late summer evenings jumping on the bales and trying to shove them across the fields. I draw this to capture the memory of the warm sun on our backs and the dry grass under our feet.
